Biosphera

Biosphera is a multifaceted marvel, serving as an infrastructure, scientific complex, oceanographic museum, and a group. Since its creation in 2094, it has been a source of pride for Napoli, drawing numerous visitors every day. Many scientists intentionally come from all over Italy and even Europe to work there, and it's easily understandable.

Biosphera is a true underwater paradise, shaped like a glass sphere and completely submerged in water, making the infrastructure itself a work of art. Working there is a matter of prestige, and it's evident that schoolchildren, high school students, and even college students and adults who take a tour leave with stars in their eyes.

At Biosphera, the best of Napoli is showcased – beautiful seafloors and preserved marine life. Indeed, the area comprising Biosphera, the university, and Porto Felice constitutes a preserved and protected zone, providing scientists with the freedom to collect samples and conduct analyses under the best possible conditions.

Thus far, the research has proven fruitful, with the discovery of new species, including unidentified fish and algae. The underwater laboratory is actively developing new species, and the dedicated scientists spend countless hours seeking answers to their inquiries. Since 2105, it seems they may have found what they were looking for. A species named the "Napo" fish has emerged, and researchers have succeeded in having them produce (albeit in small quantities for now) "rare earth" pearls, a substitute for Cobalt with similar characteristics. Consequently, the booming technological industry will no longer be limited by depleting and insufficient resources.

Biosphera, therefore, stands as a progressive paradise where the marine and abyssal universe holds the key to many current and potential future issues. Biosphera is primarily focused on developing new innovations for underwater and abyssal exploration, aiming to find more answers to their inquiries and, as seen with the "Napo" fish, gain an advantage over neighboring countries.

It also aims to explore and save our dear Earth by advocating for nature before it's too late. However, this utopia remains somewhat precarious. The investments and resources required for the smooth operation of such an infrastructure have been substantial and surely not without consequences!
