University of Marine Biology

The University of Marine Biology opened its doors in the year 2096, marking a period of significant influx of innovators and their families to the region. This initiative aimed to establish an educational institution of renowned stature, meeting the growing expectations of the community. Thus, the university was created to play an essential role in the research, education, and preservation of marine ecosystems.

Admitting 200 carefully selected students annually from privileged backgrounds, the university introduced an entrance competition directly accessible after high school. Offering three distinct curricula, all converging towards a common goal—producing researchers, innovators, and engineers. These curricula branch into specialties such as Underwater Resources, Abyssal Research, and Bioenergetic Technologies. Graduates from this prestigious school secure well-paying and exciting jobs upon completion.

What sets this institution apart is its partnership with Biosphera and the array of extracurricular activities offered.

These activities shape versatile students, equally adept in the laboratory as they are during underwater dives. Following the creation of the abyssal trench and its exploitation by Biosphera, the university adapted its facilities by establishing an underground aquarium, benefiting both visitors and students. Moreover, special courses, such as those on quantum physics or relativity, taught by Marco Livio, an associate of Federico, add a unique dimension to the educational experience. Federico, a recent shareholder in the school, has the privilege of using certain rooms from time to time.

This prestigious university stands as a campus where the most passionate and promising students gather. A noteworthy aspect is the minimal emphasis on financial status for admission, with a quota of 10 positions reserved for scholarship recipients, promoting socio-economic diversity within the institution. Thus, the University of Marine Biology in Napoli remains a driving force in education, research, and the conservation of invaluable marine ecosystems.
