Summary

    In 8mm, the player takes on the role of an anonymous reporter wandering through an industrial complex isolated beyond time. 

   To get out of this complex, there is
only one objective, to stop the giant gear that is blocking the reporter in a timeless abandoned place.

   To achieve this,
our reporter is equipped with an 8mm film camera which seems to have obtained very particular capacities. Indeed, the latter allows him to travel between past and present in given periods. 

Gameplay

    Travel beyond time through the film of the camera and solve the environmental enigmas!

    Create new paths and influence time through your actions in the past!


Observation and reflection are the keywords to escape this lonely place ...

Level Design

   The main aspect (and my personal favorite) was designing and building the levels for the game! 

    My main focus on the game was to create an immersive experience where the player feels the consequences of his actions! 

By interacting with the environment in the past, the present will be disrupted.

   Designing and building levels that were separated into 2 periods of time was a personal challenge! 




     First of all, because I wanted to create a realistic place that can be seen in two periods of time so that the present version depends on the past one.

     And also in balancing the pacing and the rythm of the level, to not let the player progress in one time period.
