Cervo - The Curious AI
Creation
Built over 7 years by Ali Psara, Cervo is arguably one of Italy's most sophisticated robots. So much so that a treaty was specifically drafted for him and his creator, ensuring that he would not be subject to the emerging laws following the Robot Terror in the United States in 2088.

The construction of such artificial intelligence stems from dedicated work and numerous liters of sweat and tears, day and night. When not at the Archives Memoria, Ali spent his time developing programs, conducting research, ordering unique parts, and gathering information here and there to perfect Cervo.

But Cervo is not like other robots; he is incapable of moving, as he was created and installed specifically for the Archives. He is a kind of brain with a simplistic visual interface, a simple face, and a few other visual feedbacks. In any case, the robot only works with Ali. He is the only one he respects, brushing off most other people who ask him anything. Therefore, there is no need for additional feedback because his creator knows him perfectly, just as he knew Gabriele, with whom he did not need to speak to communicate. Everything was instinctive, and that's what Ali sought when creating this robot.

Cervo has become a blend of Gabriele's character and the best friend Ali always wanted. Ali cherishes him above all and is very proud of his creation that fulfills all the missions he was designed for.
Cervo was installed in 2103, after undergoing numerous test versions. This is not his first life.
Personality & Role
Programmed to be autonomous and semi-aware of itself, Cervo has been connected to the internet for 6 years, with the last year dedicated to integrating into the Archives Memoria Complex and exploiting the database. Under the principle of Machine Learning, Cervo is a true electronic brain and learns new things every day.

Through conversations with his creator and exploration of different personalities, it was decided that Cervo would adopt a playful and always proactive attitude. As the years pass, the artificial intelligence becomes calmer and increasingly assists those who seek its help.

Overall, his role at the Archives Memoria is simple: to manage the entire network, sort and organize all data passing through the Archives Memoria. Archivists and managers can seek assistance from him at any time.
Moreover, his omnipresence in the Archives building means that he is always awake and aware, unaffected by the passage of time. His only time marker is the addition or deletion of archives and data in the Archives' database.

It is interesting to note that Cervo has never been made public, and those working for the archives must sign a very strict confidentiality agreement. Ali Psara and other Archives officials are well aware that leaving all the city's data and more in the hands of a self-aware robot may not be a great idea.

Cervo has no intention of ruling the world or creating an unprecedented revolt in Napoli, but if he wanted to, of course, he could...
