Charlotte Redeve - The Unbalanced Opera Singer

Background

Charlotte Redeve was born on January 16, 2075, in Napoli, into a rather affluent family. From a young age, around 6 years old, doctors and psychologists detected in her a certain hyperactivity and hypersensitivity, suggesting to Charlotte's parents that she should receive private lessons at home.

Initially, Charlotte's parents themselves taught her, but with the workload becoming too heavy, they eventually hired a private tutor. Her name was Margot, and she was delightful.

Unintentionally, this lady would change Charlotte's life. Beyond being a teacher, she also took on the roles of a nanny and simply an older sister. Charlotte was an only child and felt terribly lonely, so having someone she could count on every day delighted her.

Throughout the day, Charlotte attended mandatory lessons, and during breaks and at the end of the day, she would put on costumes and improvise roles. One day she was a ballerina, and the next day she became an astronaut. She loved everything; anything interested her, and her brain was constantly active. Seeing her student burst into laughter and her smile shining brighter every day, one evening Margot suggested to the parents to enroll her in theater classes!

It was then, at the age of 10, that Charlotte began attending theater classes and performances. She had to face others, but since she was so used to only seeing herself, the faces of other children turned into mirrors reflecting only her. She was the best, and Margot knew it.

Gradually, the spotlight turned toward her. One evening, at the end of a performance in Napoli, in a slightly run-down venue on Via Veneto, a man came to inquire and addressed the Redeve family. He was an agent for an advertising company. Considering the influence and financial potential, the parents accepted.

Margot's role was over. The "big sister" could now go and help new children. Since that evening, she had disappeared. She couldn't be far, but Charlotte was surrounded by other people more "important" for her and her future. No more small school; Charlotte entered the realm of adults.

For the past 12 years, she has been starring in advertisements: fashion, toys, skincare products, all while continuing private lessons and intensive theater training in parallel. She wanted to become an actress and be influential.

A Diva

A diva. At the age of 16, she landed her first role in a small, socially conscious series set in the remnants of Venice. Engaging in independent cinema, she began to make a name for herself. Although she didn't change her name, viewers called her the Diva. She had a fiery temperament, unwavering audacity, and an inimitable aura. She commanded the stage, and all cameras focused on her. By the age of 20, she had become a major Italian star, playing the lead role in the telenovela "Il Mio Cuore è All'Opera."

For this role, she gave her heart and soul, proving once again how much she loved her craft and how fiercely she could fight for her place. She honed her voice and piano skills for four years before landing the role in 2094. Throughout the series, she worked tirelessly every day until exhaustion. She stood out and generated enthusiasm for the series, both through her personal evolution and her character. "Il Mio Cuore è All'Opera" is a true homage to this Italian art. Charlotte embodied the perfect woman for this role: resilient, ideal, audacious, and utterly charismatic.

In 2099, the telenovela came to an end—a conclusion of an era for Charlotte and the countless viewers. The series had lasted for many years, five in total, with an episode airing every Sunday. It had become, like Charlotte herself, an integral part of households' lives. The episodes were simultaneously broadcast on all platforms, creating a genuine opportunity for all generations.

Then, Charlotte fell silent.

Opera

After a small depressive phase and overwhelmed, she decided to slow down the pace and take advantage of the new century to make an impact and be closer to her "fans."

In 2100, on the occasion of her birthday on February 14, she did a live session on a social media to select a person with whom she would spend an evening tête-à-tête. It's worth mentioning that she wasn't actually born on this date but on the 16th. However, since the Telenovela, she had her birthday date changed to play on Valentine's Day and, in a way, appropriate the expression of love.

The person she chose was a certain Luna De Bonte, an elderly woman and a fan from the very beginning when Charlotte was still performing in small venues. (See more about the story of the Charlotta Opera here).

After this fabulous year spent with this lady and sharing their stories, in 2101, Charlotte was able to open the doors of her own opera! Charlotte wanted, from this year onwards, to enjoy herself as an opera singer and perform for the people who had touched her.

During the premiere, in the front row, stood the Redeve family, and not far away, a certain Margot De Bonte...

Eventually, years later, and with a slow but steady decline in her fame, Charlotte heard about Federico and potential financial affairs and interesting investments. In 2106, she was then offered to join Federico's Organization, and in 2107, after charming Federico and threatening to reveal dubious projects about the NoTemp'o on the Isola Festival island, she managed to have her name listed.

During the accident at the Monte Alto Stadium, she was spared, probably protected by Luna's will, who lived nearby during that musical break.

In 2107, Charlotte is 32 years old and ready to do anything to restore her image, keeping in mind that the other human beings around her are simply reflections of herself.
